Taxes and a break !

Since my last blog, I have been super busy trying to complete my dads death taxes.  I thought they were done til we had to file an extension because the CPA wanted more information for the good ol' IRS.   Before my trip to New York I had 90% of the taxes complete.  Now that I am back, I will finish up the last bit, then I can work on dividing the estate.  Hopefully I will be able to post a few pictures from my trip in the next few evenings when I need a break from taxes.  My friend and I had a blast and we want to go back in the winter.    New York is really a rather pretty state, in most parts.

Finally it's off -

Yeah, I finally got my cast off. I can't wear any shoes with backs on them, but at least I can wear a pair of shoes that match. My traveling partner and I went to Lehi for a few days. I got my cast off, picked up a crib for Chris and Maggie and had a few other appointments. But the trip home sure was bad. My traveling partner, Chewie my dog, started throwing up so I pulled over twice to help him out and my cell phone must have fallen out of my truck on the freeway. I drove clear back to both spots and no brand new iPhone 4s. I was sick all the way home. Luckily there is phone insurance. I will have another one tomorrow but still it's not a fun experience.

New Year New Blog

A new year has found me very busy, but I have found the time for a new blog.  I am slow at getting it set up as it is tax time and I am trying to get that done for d-day.  Plus I am still sleeping quite a bit since my foot surgery.  It was basically a reconstruction of my right achilies tenden and my outside ankle.  It has only been two weeks but I am getting better slowly.
